"The natural world beckons me to record what I witness. My goal in wildlife painting is to record a fleeting moment, a mood, an expression. Personal observation, the use of photography, and sketching are key to my work and the main reason I relocated from Maryland to Livingston many years ago. In the past, I taught art education, raised a family, and pursued a business painting residential and commercial murals. Today, I am a fine art painter choosing to capture what excites me. I enjoy exploring varied compositions, colors, and textures to convey the emotion I try to evoke in my viewers."
