Sarah Angst grew up in Winnipeg, Canada and went to university in Duluth, Minnesota where she graduated with a BFA in Art Education. She did her student teaching outside of Geneva, Switzerland, but decided she wanted to create the art instead of grade it. She is now an artist and printmaker in Bozeman. She has been a full time artist since moving to Bozeman in 2007 where her life, artwork, and business evolved from traveling to art fairs, to now owning her own wholesale greeting card and sticker company that currently employs 5 other women and her products can be found at over 700 shops across the continent.

Angst creates her original linoleum block prints one at a time. Each image is hand carved, hand printed, and hand painted in an attempt to evoke the calm comfort of life’s simple pleasures. Her prints display the effortless beauty in everyday subject matter and their crisp black outlines make her vibrant colors really pop.

​Her inspiration varies from animals in nature, flowers and foliage, to fun holiday ideas, and all her pieces have a captivating boldness paired with a nostalgic quality that resonates with people. From her originals she also creates reproductions, stickers, greeting cards, magnets, and jewelry. 

Building a business from her passion is Sarah Angst’s true passion and she is so grateful that she gets to do what she loves while bringing joy to others every day!
